Museum of Science Sleepover 2007

Several members of Pack 11 spent the night at the Museum of Science on January 19, 2007.  We saw a model of D.N.A. that looked like metal lines connecting red, orange, and blue balls.  We also made a Rube Goldberg device.  First, a ball rolled down a hill, then hit another ball, after the ball hit a car, then "bam!" into a marble that knocked down a clapper.  We also saw an exhibit where you could smell animals, they were in a glass tank, and although the animals were fake, they smelled real.  Billy made a huge line of dominoes that went up and down stairs, looped, curved, split and turned.  When it came time to topple them, just a little help was needed to fall all the dominoes.  All those things put together including eating dipping dots, could not beat, what every man wants to do, what all people dream about, the fun and the exercises of going up the escalator the wrong way.

At 12:45 a.m. we got our sleeping bags and pillows and went to bed.  One guy snored and it sounded like a cow.  I could not fall asleep until 3 a.m., which made being woken up 6:45 a.m. ten times tougher then anyone who got right to sleep.  We had a breakfast of cereal, pancakes, orange juice and milk.  Then we returned back to exploring the Museum.  We played in a science playground, saw optical illusions, and explored things about the human body.  In the end, we explored almost everything in the Museum of Science.  The End.
